Sara Guerriero, LMSW
Sara is a licensed social worker who has experience working in different capacities and settings. From outpatient substance abuse treatment programs to inpatient mental health facilities, she has provided case management services; individual, couple, & family counseling; advocacy; and consultation.
She is a Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional (CAIP), designated healthcare provider with the LGBTQ+ Community, certified Advanced Care Planning Facilitator, and holds a certification in Preventing and Managing Crisis Situations (PMCS) for inpatient staff. Additional programs and training in which Sara has expanded her knowledge and expertise include Trauma & Attachment and DASA (Dignity for All Students Act).
Sara specializes in anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, depression, PTSD, self esteem and self confidence, life transitions, and relationship conflicts. She utilizes numerous modalities that include CBT, DBT, IPT, REBT, Creative Art Therapy, Existential and Humanistic Therapy, and more. Alongside the use of these therapies, Sara provides compassion and support to all clients and families that cross her path. She values the therapeutic relationship and provides a comforting, safe space for all who are starting and/or continuing their therapeutic journey to a healthier, well self.
